Kara Liby to Serve as Diplomat Chair for the
Overland Park Chamber of Commerce Diplomat Committee
Overland Park, KS – February 2012 – The Overland Park Chamber of Commerce Diplomat Committee has selected Kara Liby to serve as Diplomat Chair for the 2012 – 2014 term.
This is one of only three standing committees offered by the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce. The Diplomats are the goodwill “arm” of the Chamber and therefore are expected to extend the hand of friendship to new and old members alike.

The Diplomats welcome new members, make goodwill calls to promote retention, assist with ribbon cuttings, grand openings and attend Chamber events. The Chamber relies on the Diplomats to aid in relaying information to and from members, identifying member concerns, and garnering support for the Chamber.
“I have served as a Diplomat for almost three years and it’s a great, diverse group of people I have enjoyed getting to know. The majority of our referrals and new business continue to come directly from those relationships,” said Kara.
